Geneva atelier — furniture by hand

Form

intention

Every piece starts with a conversation. Then pencil drawings. Then wood. No standard catalogue — only furniture made for a specific place and person.

Material
speaks before
the maker does

Every commission starts with the wood itself — its grain, weight, and history. What gets built is a conversation between what you need and what the material allows. Furniture that fits one place, made once.

How a
piece
comes to
life

01

Conversation

Every commission starts with a meeting — in person when possible. We talk about the space, the light, how the piece will be used. What it needs to feel like to live with.

02

Material

Wood is chosen by hand from sawmills within 100km of Geneva. Each board is assessed for grain, movement, and character before a single measurement is taken.

03

Drawing & iteration

Pencil drawings — not CAD. Proportions are worked through by hand until the form has its own logic. The name Itera Forma comes from this: form through iteration.

04

Build & finish

Joinery by hand. Surfaces finished with oil and wax — never lacquer. The wood continues to breathe. Delivery and installation handled personally.
